We chose to use ALU-MAX® aluminum side release buckles exclusively for our Quick Release Collars because the strength and reliability of other metal side release buckles are just not good enough for a collar of this style also there is the added benefit of 100% corrosion resistance to salt and fresh water, perfect for water loving and adventure doggos! If paired with a waterproof hardware option*
